When you’re shooting an event or activity, tell the story from beginning to end with snapshots. Here’s an example: Let’s say you’re baking cookies with your kids. You might shoot the kids getting all the ingredients out and lined up. Then take a shot of them breaking the eggs into the bowl. You might also want to snap a shot of them mixing up the dough and with flour on their noses. Don’t forget a shot of them licking the spoon too! Of course, you will want pictures of the final product, the cookies being enthusiastically dunked into milk!
