Fine art photography | Dulles VA | Family Photographer Rates | Photography Lighting Tips

Are you searching for Fine art photography in the Dulles VA area and looking for professional family photographer rates?

Ever get frustrated that your subjects are too dark in your pictures? You’re not alone. Many people complain about this when using either a camera phone or point-and-click camera. One common cause of this is from shooting into a bright background.

A bright background can be a bright sky, window or any bright light. If there is more light behind the subject than on the subject, the subject will look dark. Fortunately, this is an easy fix! Simply, move the subject so that there isn’t so much light behind it. Try moving the subject in front of a wall or shoot from the top, looking down, so the background is the ground and not the bright sky. This creates even, ideal lighting in your image, ridding you of the improper lighting proportions.
