Even my friends said that they liked the pictures online and the way you set up our sneak peak. I think one of my friends said she watched it at least 10 times a day. She was humming the song out in service. I have never heard her hum before. I think everything was beautifully done and you all really did capture our once upon a time…

One of my favorite poems is Phenomenal Woman — but I never thought I would get to ever see the most awesome Maya Angelou in person. But the philenthropic Maya has a charter school in D.C. She hosts a yearly event to raise funds for the school. Maya Angelou is one of those women that is truly beautiful inside and out!

What better way to spend a Friday than to take a stroll through Meadowlark Gardens with the lovely Niesha and her beau, Jermaine. We shared some laughs and the beauty of the spring flowers in full bloom. For us, it was like old times — we’ve worked with Jermaine before (he’s a DJ). Niesha has a photographer in the family, so we feel REALLY privileged to be chosen to photograph their wedding. It was plain to see that love is in the air for these two, don’t you think?

Michael and Jennifer are one of the cutest couple — they were so at ease around each other — and that really translated in their images!
Even though it was a typical blustery spring day, we had great fun hiking the trail at Great Falls Park. Michael wanted their engagements images to include the exact place where he proposed — watching them re-enact the proposal, we could quickly see that these two were made for each other.
