Studio Policies


Every business has policies to keep communication clear. The purpose of this document is to be transparent, set expectations for you and for us, putting everyone on the same page about what we do and how we do it so there are no surprises.
Ever After Portraits is an in-demand, luxury portrait studio that is often booked 1-3 months in advance. Our studio team often comes together from different cities to give our clients a memorable custom portrait experience at the highest levels of excellence. Excellent customer service is our goal.
Please read our Studio Policies carefully, understanding you will be held to these posted Studio Policies by booking a session with Ever After, LLC.
We view Studio Policies as tools that help us ensure that all clients have a wonderful experience.
We are happy to answer any questions or clarify anything.

Studio Location and Hours
Ever After, LLC’s Residential Studio is located at 46506 Oak Lane, Sterling, Virginia, 20165.
Our phone number is 571-434-0009.
We are open by appointment only.
Please consider your schedule, understanding most meetings and correspondence will take place during daytime business hours.
We will return your call and respond to emails during the week in the daytime.

Preferred Communication
We will do our best to keep an open line of communication and information and ask that you do the same.
Speaking in person or on the phone is our favorite way of communicating with you to book in or answer questions about your session.
We do use email and text to forward information to you, as it offers us all the luxury of having our correspondence in one place.

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Ever After. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may at any time reply STOP to opt-out. By submitting, you authorize Ever After to send text messages with offers and other information. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Although we may have initially connected with you on social media, our communication preference is phone/email/text message as we move forward in providing services.
Please note that we do not accept text messaging as a valid way to book or cancel a session.

Securing our Services and Scheduling
For some sessions, a non-refundable Session Fee is required to secure our services and hold your date.
For other sessions, a refundable Holding Fee is required for this purpose.
To ensure that we are booking committed clients, as serious and committed as we are to their having beautiful portraits created, and to prevent no-shows and late cancellations, we ask every client for a holding or session fee and only payment of either type of fee secures a date on our calendar.
This fee is 100% refundable for the cancellation of a session within the first 48 hours of payment, no questions asked.
Sales Tax applies to all fees.
You are under no obligation to purchase any portraits. Products are a separate purchase from the session or holding fee.
One Portrait Session appointment and one Ordering Session appointment is included as part of your holding or session fee.
Add ons may be purchased separately and are non-refundable.

  • A $600 Session Fee (includes a $500 spending credit) is required to hold your date for an In Studio session.
  • A $1000 Session Fee (includes a $1000 spending credit) is required to hold your date for a Portrait Park session.
  • A $1500 Session Fee (includes a $500 spending credit) is required to hold your date for an On Location session. If shooting on location incurs additional fees, we will pass those on to you, the Client.

Ordering Sessions are typically scheduled within approximately 1 to 2 weeks after your Portrait Session.
Preparation for your session/event often requires planning and coordination.
Planning and Design sessions are by phone and generally last about 15 -20 minutes.
Because we have a wedding division, typically, we do not photograph sessions on Saturdays, and Sundays are our family day. If exceptions are made, additional fees may apply.
After you book your session, we will send you detailed information on clothing, directions, etc.
When participating in a charitable fundraising project, the participation fee that goes to charity is always fully nonrefundable.

Exclusive Photographer / Other Cameras / Personnel
Ever After, LLC will be the exclusive photographer/s retained by the Client/s for the purpose of photographing the session.
No other cameras or video recording devices are allowed during the portrait or ordering sessions. Yes, this includes your cell phones!
Ever After, LLC may have an Associate Portrait Artist taking photographs who shall be a competent professional, and/or may have an Assistant take photographs under the supervision of Portrait Artist.

Copyright and Reproductions/Usage/Model Release
The Client who books our services gives copyright, reproduction, usage and model release consent as further detailed below and recognizes that no further notification is required, that Client is over 18 years of age, and that if any portrait Subject is a minor child, that you are the parent or duly authorized representative of that Subject and have read and understand and give consent to  this  Release.

Ever After, LLC
– shall exclusively retain the copyright and ownership of all digital negatives to all portraits created and reserves the exclusive right to make reproductions of any time in perpetuity.
– may provide a written Usage License of ordered purchased portraits/digital negatives.

Client will not
– make copies for sale or for the purpose of circumventing the sale of portraits or images.
– copy or reproduce the portraits/images in any way without express written permission.
Please note: Even though portraits may be of you or your child, the photographer still owns the copyright to the portrait.
In order to control the quality of the work produced, the photographer is the only one who can crop, modify, or order any portrait produced at this Portrait Session.
All digital negatives/images/portraits are copyrighted by Ever After, LLC and are protected by United States Copyright Laws (USC Title 17). It is illegal to copy, scan, reproduce, or post images online in forums elsewhere without the written permission of Ever After, LLC or alter in any manner, including, but not limited to, electronic scanning via personal scanner or reproduction via photo lab or self-service kiosk. Violators of this federal law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties.

Quality and Training
Calls or sessions may be recorded by the Studio for quality and training purposes.

Counterparts, Signature to Agreements, including Ordering Agreement
Client and the Studio agree that signatures by facsimile transmission or electronic scan, or using electronic and email signatures are acceptable and shall have the same force and effect as if an original signature.

Code of Conduct
We expect all our clients to maintain an appropriate level of conduct.

Inappropriate Verbal or Physical Conduct to Our Staff
– Raising your voice to any staff.
– Profane, obscene, or abusive language; racial, ethnic, or sexual orientation comments or gestures.
– Taking any property, inventory or materials owned by Ever After, LLC.
– Vandalizing our property by writing, marking, scribbling, defacing, or causing destruction to the property in any manner.
– Possess, use, or sale any controlled substance while we are on the property or in our presence.

If you RESCHEDULE, FAIL TO ATTEND or CANCEL your Portrait or Ordering Session for any reason, the studio loses the ability to book this time for another family.
Please book ALL of your dates thoughtfully and with consideration, as rescheduling any type of appointment can not only be difficult, but will incur a $200 Rescheduling Fee. The Rescheduling Fee can be used as a spending credit toward purchase.
We understand that emergencies happen, but please don’t reschedule your Session unless absolutely necessary as it may be several weeks or even months before there is another opening.
Our Rescheduling Policies apply to Portrait and Ordering appointments.

  • We have a 14-day minimum rescheduling policy.
  • If you provide 14 days or more advance notice to reschedule, your fee is automatically transferred to secure a new date for one (1) occurrence with your understanding that our calendar can be booked months in advance.
  • Rescheduling with less than 14 days notice will require payment of the Rescheduling Fee.


  • Dates are rescheduled only by speaking on the phone so you must call the Studio at 571.434.0009 for any appointment changes.
  • We block out our studio and staff for YOUR Portrait and Ordering Sessions.   Our Studio is set aside just for you and your family.


  • Sessions may be rescheduled due to dangerous weather at the Studio’s discretion.
  • Outdoor Portrait Park Sessions may be rescheduled due to weather or moved inside to our Indoor Studio at the Studio’s discretion.


  • Please contact us immediately via phone at 571.434.0009 to reschedule due to illness.
    In the event the Client, anyone in the Client’s household or anyone attending the session with the Client becomes unwell, please call the Studio at 571.434.0009 so that we can reschedule the session.
    The Studio will allow one (1) complimentary reschedule due to illness/Covid with less than 14 days’ notice.
  • After one (1) complimentary reschedule, payment of the Rescheduling Fee will apply.
    If anyone attending the session appears to have Covid symptoms (including but not limited to a cough, fever or respiratory symptoms, mild or otherwise), they will be asked to leave immediately, and the session will be halted without notice or restriction.
  • We may find it necessary to postpone your session:
    If required by Governmental Authorities.
    In the event anyone on our staff becomes unwell


  • Out of respect for other clients, if you are 15 minutes late to your appointment, we will assist you in rescheduling to another day as there will not be enough time to complete your appointment and no refunds are available. Payment of the Rescheduling Fee will apply.
  • If you fail to attend a Portrait or Ordering Session you forfeit your session or holding fee – in addition, there is a $150 no-show fee.


  • Permanently canceled appointments or no shows will not be refunded.
  • Optional addons such as Studio Wardrobe or Hair and Makeup are not refundable even in the event of the cancellation of a session.
  • If wall snapshots are requested from you but not received, and/or if a Design Session is scheduled with you, but not held, and the Portrait Session cannot go forward, you will forfeit your session/holding fee.
  • Design Session Info
    Some sessions require a Design Session, where we will style your session, including clothing suggestions, and discuss wall art and products so you can plan and prepare you for your portrait and ordering session.
    You will have a chance to review our available products and get a general idea of what you would like to purchase from your session so we can photograph accordingly.
    One Design Consultation Session can be held in person or over the phone and allows us to do our best work, so for most session types, it is required and must be scheduled before your Portrait Session is held, typically within 7 days of booking your session.
    If a Design Session is required but not held prior to the Portrait Session, your Portrait Session will be postponed.
    If wall snapshots are requested from you but not received, and/or if a Design Session is scheduled with you, but not held, and the Portrait Session cannot go forward, you will forfeit your session/holding fee.


  • Requested Information
    Certain information may be requested from clients so we can style your session and is required for us to do our best work.
    For some types of sessions, immediately after booking your Portrait Session, we will ask that you look around your home and send us snapshots of any wall you might consider displaying portraits. We will use those snapshots in your Design Session.
    If clients are non-responsive to requests for longer than 10 days, we reserve the right to remove Portrait and Ordering dates from the calendar and retain any fee.
    If wall snapshots are requested from you but not received, and/or if a Design Session is scheduled with you, but not held, and the Portrait Session cannot go forward, you will forfeit your session/holding fee.


  • Depending upon the session you choose, those requests may include:
    – providing requested wall snapshots
    – completing a requested “dad” call
    – completing a Design Session
  • Clients booking us are in essence agreeing to be responsive to requests in a timely manner.
  • Portrait Session Types and our Process
    Portrait Sessions typically last 30 minutes to an hour, based on the type of session.
    We will have a consultation either on the phone or in person before your Portrait Session.
    Limited Edition Sessions are booked at the Studio’s discretion and only offered a few times a year; are on a set date chosen by the Studio, of shorter duration, and are theme-based. These are generally announced on our Facebook page, so stay tuned there!


  • A Portrait Session is meant to show the genuine expression and flattering representation of a subject, resulting in meaningful artwork. That will always be our primary focus and will dictate how we spend our time on your session.
    Your desires and expectations are voiced during our consultation, and requests need to be explained ahead of time.
    The Family session experience includes:
    Planning Session by phone or zoom to discuss your session hopes and dreams
    Family experience that will leave the whole family feeling reconnected
    Artwork ordering appointment
    A Session or Holding fee does not include digital files or printed products.
    We will choose the portraits that best represent the subject and are technically sound with proper exposure, eliminating redundancy.
    Our goal is always to produce stellar portraits, offering variety in moments, emphasizing quality over quantity.
    If you like our style, value quality products and exceptional customer service, then you are in the right place.
    We release portraits that reinforce our artistic style as these portraits live on as a representation of our business.
    Requests that we feel do not uphold our brand or are outdated may not be something we can accommodate.
    We hold discretion for the final portraits we release based on many factors, including Artistic Integrity, portrait quality, relevance, and brand reinforcement.
    We reserve the right to exclude anyone not dressed appropriately from an Artist Project book.
    Changing the session while in process is not something we can accommodate.
    Our studio does not photograph ‘incomplete families’ where a family member has not been able to attend the Portrait Session. We are happy to reschedule a new appointment when you are all together again.
    As long as the entire family attends the Portrait Session, we are happy to photograph your children individually or together at no extra charge


  • Portrait Sessions and Late Arrivals
    As a professional Portrait Artist, desiring to provide the best, most relaxed session possible, Ever After Portraits limits the number of sessions we photograph so our attention is totally focused on you and your experience.
    The Studio is committed to your portrait time so Sessions have a start and end time blocked off just for you.
    We won’t use the time you paid for to photograph someone else who arrived late.  Out of respect for other clients, if you are 15 minutes late to your appointment, we will assist you in rescheduling to another day. Payment of the Rescheduling Fee will apply. 
    Clients who book a date agree to arrive on time or early, wait in their car and text us upon arrival.
    If Hair and Makeup services have been scheduled and you arrive late, you may have to choose between having your hair done OR your makeup done, or the services could possibly be forfeited all together.
    There will be no refund or credit if you arrive late and your hair and makeup cannot be completed.
    If hair and makeup is included in your session fee, your makeup and hair appointment is considered part of your portrait session and as such, all scheduling and cancellation policies apply to your makeup and hair appointment as well.


  • Portrait Session Types – Session Specific Information


FAMILY INCLUDED in any session fee, MEANS IMMEDIATE FAMILY that live under the same roof, PARENTS AND CHILDREN.

Any session which has 3 or more ADULTS will be considered a MULTIGENERATIONAL/EXTENDED FAMILY SESSION

A MULTIGENERATIONAL/EXTENDED FAMILY UNIT MEANS a separate FAMILY UNIT that lives in a separate home or household.

We require the name, phone number and email of one contact person for each FAMILY UNIT. As a studio, we would like to send them our welcome packet so they also have all the information and there are no surprises. We want your entire family to have the best experience.

Any portrait with 3 or more ADULTS is available as Wall Art only.

Each FAMILY UNIT desiring to purchase portraits may have at no additional charge their own:

EACH FAMILY UNIT ordering session must be held within one week of the PRIMARY ORDERING SESSION for PRODUCTS PURCHASED to be counted as ONE SALES SESSION and treated as ONE ORDER with POOL YOUR RESOURCES PRICING. While separate invoices may be issued, POOL YOUR RESOURCES PRICING is treated as ONE invoice; REWARDS of as much as 50% off additional products may apply after your first Wall Art purchase. No PRODUCTS are delivered until payment in full has been received. Absolutely no refunds.

Matching Digitals of products ordered are NOT INCLUDED for MULTIGENERATIONAL/EXTENDED FAMILY sessions, but are a separate product that may be purchased.

– MULTIGENERATIONAL/EXTENDED FAMILY STUDIO WARDROBE is $250 and includes styling and clothing pressed and ready for ALL session participants.
– Optionally, a suggested clothing palette can be created and shared with your family.
– Coordinating clothing a challenge for your family? Black and white portraits are always an option.

STUDIO WARDROBE: Please allow for 15 minutes for changing into studio wardrobe.


  • Ordering Session Info
    One Ordering Session is included in the Session/Holding Fee.
    This is the only time you will be able to see your portraits and order from your session without incurring additional cost,
    Preserving the legacy of your family is such an important decision so please plan for a time you can be focused and not rushed.
    If you choose not to place your order in full the day of your session or you are unable to complete your order in the allotted time, you may book an additional Ordering Session at the cost of $200, payable that day, which gives you three months to schedule another Ordering Session.
    Portraits will be ordered at an adults-only Ordering Session.
    Should Client arrive more than 15 minutes late, out of respect for other clients, we will assist you in rescheduling to another day. Payment of the Rescheduling Fee will apply.
  • Spouses/Significant Others, all decision makers must BOTH be present for the Ordering Session.
    Any portraits that you, family members, or friends want must be ordered during your scheduled Ordering Session.
    We do not offer proofs that leave the Studio so all orders must be placed at your Ordering Session.
    We do not save unordered portraits so if anyone else might want to place an order, they will need to be sure and attend or contact the studio about arranging a separate ordering session day and time.
    Zoom ordering sessions have the requirements that it must take place in front of a desktop computer, or displayed on your TV.
    Zoom ordering sessions will be rescheduled if attempted to be conducted in a public place or while driving.
    Payment is due in full or payment arrangements for products ordered must be made when the order is placed
    In the interest of fairness to all customers, all rates are non-negotiable.


  • Placing Your Order
    THERE IS NO REQUIRED OR MINIMUM TO PURCHASE. Working with us means you agree that you will think about your product order before you place it and won’t call, email or contact us after you place it requesting to change or cancel it.
    Due to the custom nature of our photography, all orders are final, non-refundable, and cannot be cancelled or changed. Your custom portrait artwork order, including any retouching by our artist, will start on the day your order is placed. This ensures that we will meet or exceed the promised ‘ready by’ date for you..
    Approval of retouched proofs may be required before some products are manufactured.
    Proofs shown at the Ordering Session are not shown retouched – proofs have basic color and exposure corrections done, but do not represent the final quality of prints.
    While portraits are available for purchase, proofs have no value.
    Ordering session will be take place on a weekday during normal business hours and be rescheduled and any fees forfeited if either parent fails to attend.
    We want you to love the portraits we create – if you don’t love the portraits we create enough to purchase them, we understand! All unordered portraits will be deleted after the Ordering Session even if no order is placed.
    Credits not used during the Ordering Session are forfeited and will not be refunded for cash or future credit.
    All orders will be delivered upon receipt of payment in full and take 4 to 8 weeks minimum for delivery from time of final payment.
    Legacy products may take longer due to their custom, handcrafted nature.
    Estimates for delivery are provided but are truly just estimates.
    Anything ordered will be delivered in one order, including digital products, at the same time; we do not split orders and deliver partial orders.
    No returns or exchanges are allowed with the exception of a manufacturer defect on an item.
    Any defect must be reported within 3 calendar days from receipt of product and require a return label for proper processing.
    Product prices and special offers will be in effect for the length of your Ordering Session only.
    Ordered portraits will be archived and  stored in a digital library for emergency replacements, and available for one year.
    If no Ordering Session is held, unordered files are disposed of.
    Tax and shipping is additional to all orders.


  • Paying for Products and Your Order
    We accept full payment for products at the end of your Ordering Session via cash (including Venmo/Zelle), check or credit card.
    We also offer special financing options and payment plans.
    Products will not be delivered until payment in full is received.
    Clients who choose to pay by credit card authorize Ever After, LLC to charge to the card any fees, products or services purchased by the Client.
    Ever After, LLC reserves the right to charge a flat 3.5% fee on all credit card purchases.
    If you would prefer to not pay this fee, please pay your product invoice in Cash, including Venmo/Zelle, or by Check.
    There is a $35.00 fee for any bounced check. If you bounce a check, you must pay for your order and bounced check fee in cash.
    Failure by the Client to make any payment as and when agreed shall release the Studio from any further responsibility, without the responsibility to return any monies previously paid to it.


Your holding fee is fully refunded on the day of your ordering session as long as:
1. All members of the immediate family are present for portrait session appointments
2. BOTH Parents/all decisionmakers are present for ordering sessions appointments
3. You choose not to place an order.

If you do choose to order, your holding fee becomes a credit towards artwork purchased at that time. There is no obligation to purchase.

We are unable to refund any payment for permanently cancelled appointments or no shows.

Product Prepayment Refunds:  Should you take advantage of our prepayment/prepurchase offer (for example, paying an amount in advance of a product order to be used as a product credit at your Ordering Session), in the event you don’t spend the entire prepaid amount at your Ordering Session, what you don’t spend will be refunded.

Product Orders:  Due to the custom nature of our products which are made to order and cannot be resold to any other family, Ever After has a strict policy of absolutely no refunds.  

In the event that a product is delivered, and a manufacturer defect is evident and reported within 3 calendar days from the date received, damaged during shipping (a separate claim must be filed with the shipping carrier and also must be reported within 3 calendar days after being received), or in the event that the order was erroneously processed compared to the original recorded order, products will be replaced.


Product and Design Info
Ever After has different product lines and our work is CUSTOM to each client.

Certain products are only available for certain types of sessions.
Albums are designed with, on average, 2 portraits per page but could have as many as 6  or as few as 1, but generally are designed with 4 to 6  per two pages. Some pages may have more, some less, to allow for design with similar portraits.
As your order cannot be changed after it is placed, portraits ordered for an Album are final and cannot be changed at a later time.
We provide archival-quality photographic prints and products, color corrected & calibrated to print as we see on our computer. .
Periodically we add new products and update pricing, so pricing is subject to change without notice.
If purchased, archival digital negatives are printable up to an 8×10, for personal use purposes only, unless otherwise expressed (such as for our commercial clients).
We include a print release for photographic prints only, and they may be printed up to 8×10 inches and are full frame, meaning cropping will occur when you print with most labs.
Digital Negatives may NOT be used to make your own canvases, or any other large photo products, without our express written permission.
Artistic license is not granted to alter Digital Negatives in any fashion.
Sharing and social media file restrictions: Social media files may be provided after your order, at the Studio’s discretion; however, files are watermarked and not suitable for printing or zooming and permission or artistic license is not given to at any time screen-capture proofs or design proofs for any reason or download anything we create from Facebook or any other published place, or to crop out our watermark.
Please back up all Digital Negatives in two places.
We recommend an external hard drive or flash drive, as well as online cloud storage.
Any digital images you see (on our website, blog, social media sites, or that have been provided directly to you), may vary from their intended appearance, depending on your computer’s display and settings. Please note that zooming in is outside the intended use and will result in poor quality.
In addition, Ever After, LLC cannot guarantee the results or quality of photographic prints made by client or by client’s chosen labs. For consistent, quality results, made to last a lifetime, please purchase your prints directly from Ever After, LLC
Ever After, LLC will make every effort to retain ordered files for up to one year from the date of your session but cannot guarantee storage.


    • Product Delivery
      Immediately after you place your order for your products at your Ordering Session, our artist will begin work on your portraits.

Ever After, LLC reserves the right to charge additional fees in the event anything is redesigned or retouched more than two times.
You will receive a Projected Delivery Date.
Since the only variable in our production process is the amount of time that a client may take to approve retouching/painting/designing, please note that taking longer than 24 hours to approve retouched/painted/designed proofs, WILL push back delivery of your products.
Retouching approval from the majority of our clients is typically complete within 2 weeks.
Please allow an additional 2 weeks for products that are PAINTED or DESIGNED. Producing archival quality products that are bespoke and each custom created takes time.
Once we receive your final approval and final payment, we project that your products will be in your hands within 3 weeks.
In general, products arrive 4 to 6 weeks after final payment is received.
Rush shipment is available on some items for an additional charge.
For orders to be delivered by Christmas, you will need to have completed both your Portrait Session and Ordering Session with your order placed and fully paid for by November 15.
Product turnaround CAN vary depending on our current volume of orders and the professional lab. Each product, lab or vendor has a varied turnaround time.
While we want to set appropriate product delivery expectations, due to Covid and other production and supply chain issues beyond our control, realistically we ask that you allow 3 weeks after your final approval for your products to be delivered.
Not every session is put up on our blog or Instagram account, but if your session/portraits is/are one of the ones we choose, after your Ordering Session, some of your portraits may be on our blog within 6 weeks.

  • Gift Certificate Info
    Gift Certificate Application and Promotions are open only to persons 18 years and over who are United States residents and who have not won a competition, prize or promotional item with Ever After, LLC or had a portrait session with Ever After, LLC in the last 365 days.
    Application or Entry Forms which are not properly completed will be rejected.
    One application (or entry) per household only. Employees of Ever After, LLC, their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household as employees are not eligible to participate.
    Selected applicants will be notified by mail, email and/or phone. Both parents and all decision makers must attend the Ordering Session to redeem the Gift Certificate and the gift certificate is not transferable, and must be redeemed by the holder prior to the expiration date.
    Gift Certificate Portrait Sessions are subject to availability and the session appointment must be scheduled for a date that is within two (2) months of notification being sent to the applicant.
    Gift Certificate Portrait Sessions include immediate family only as defined by parents and children. No guarantee is given that all children will be photographed together in one portrait.
    Gift Certificates are for individual portraiture and may not be used for commercial, headshot or extended family photography and are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent, and may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, gift card/certificate, credit, special offer or project session.
    Digital files and framing are excluded.
    If you have a gift certificate, we reserve exclusive studio time to provide personalized, one-on-one service while we create your artwork. To secure your appointment, at time of appointment scheduling we collect a Holding Fee.
    For gift certificate holders, our normal rescheduling policy applies. Failure to show without notice will result in forfeiture of your gift certificate and holding fee. Cancellations will only be accepted by phone.
    Campaigns are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
    The selection decision of Ever After, LLC and its officers will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
    Gift Certificates are only valid if used by the named recipient, are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be used to pay any outstanding order balances for the recipient or any client.
  • Complaints
    All complaints from both the Client and session attendees must be done offline and Ever After, LLC must be given the opportunity to conduct a proper review and address any issue.
    This does not imply nor stop the Client or attendee from posting an honest review; we are just asking for the opportunity to correct it, if an issue or problem arises.
    We ask that any reviews are done only by the Client.
    Cyberbullying and any attempt to extort Ever After, LLC will be pursued in a legal manner.
    You have 15 calendar days to communicate any issues in writing; otherwise, your complaint and review will be considered non-valid.


  • Violations
    Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of services between Ever After, LLC, and client.
    This will be effective immediately and there will be 100% total forfeiture of all monies paid to Ever After, LLC.
    It is also a violation of our policies to post any negative comments, reviews or verbal advertising.
    We strictly prohibit any negative or inaccurate reviews, media, social, blog and all online negative behavior of our company.
    Please contact us to discuss any issues you may have encountered. Any violation may be addressed in a legal manner.


  • Governing Law (State and Federal Law)
    Ever After, LLC and Client agree the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, County of Loudoun, shall govern the validity, construction, and performance of the policies, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
    Any actions relating to the policies shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in and serving the Commonwealth of Virginia, County of Loudoun. Client assume responsibility for any and all collection costs and legal fees incurred by Ever After, LLC in the event enforcement of the policies becomes necessary.
    Wherever possible, each provision of the policies shall be interpreted so that it is valid under applicable law.
    If any provision of the policies is held illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be reformed only to the extent necessary to make the provision legal and enforceable; all remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
    There is some degree of risk inherent in any activity, including photography.
    You agree that Client, Client’s family including minor children, will hold harmless Ever After, LLC, their representatives, employees, property owner and Mindy Belcher and that they will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or dispute in the event you, your family members or anyone attending the session o may become injured or ill during any part of the process of having his/her portrait taken, or during the ordering of portraits, after your session, while on the Studio premises.
    Client by the act of booking acknowledges that he/she is the parent/guardian of any minor children photographed, and as such, has the right to consent to this waiver and assumption of risk.
    To the extent provided by law, Client holds harmless Ever After, LLC, its officers, agents and employees from all liability, damage, cost or expense arising from claims for injury to persons, damage to property occasioned by reason of any conduct undertaken by reason of the policies (the hold harmless will not apply to the extent an injury is caused by the gross negligence of or the willful misconduct of Ever After, LLC, its officer, agents or employees).
    Ever After, LLC has the right to refuse service to anyone.
    Regarding studio liability and performance, Ever After, LLC takes great care with respect to the exposure, processing, and delivery of photographs. In the event Ever After, LLC cannot comply with the terms of the policies due to negligence, oversight, accident, error, omission, any other avoidable or unavoidable circumstance, whether caused by Ever After, LLC or otherwise, Ever After, LLC and/or photographer’s liability for this or any other circumstance shall be limited to the amount paid up to that time by the Client. Ever After, LLC does not guarantee to capture any particular image(s) or meet any particular aesthetic criteria as part of its performance.

We want you to be completely thrilled with your portraits. Together, we will invest considerable time, effort and expense in their creation. We feel you deserve to have the very finest work possible that can be only be created by a professional photographer.

If for any reason your portraits aren’t as you expect them to be (regardless of fault) at your Ordering Session, we will throw them away and you may have additional ones made to your liking, at no charge to you. Or, if you don’t wish to have additional portraits made, your Portrait Session fee will be refunded. If you have purchased additional sessions and are not thrilled with the results, those Portrait Session fees will be refunded.
