What if you had more than a memory?

Your son or daughter is growing up, and he or she is about to leave the nest. Maybe you feel uncertainty wondering what it’s going to be like to have them leave home. You’re going to miss them and you’ll probably feel alone without them there. You want them to spread their wings and fly, to be happy and successful, but secretly you wish they could stay at home a little longer.

You’re wondering how you will have enough time to get it all done before they leave.

Since it’s their senior year, the remaining time you have together is a big deal. Both their time and yours has been dedicated to their class trip, senior portraits, applying for college and before you know it, you’ll be watching them walk down the aisle at their graduation. You’re swamped at work and frustrated by not having as much time as you would like to spend with them before they leave for college. You want to enjoy this last year together in a meaningful way but you are uncertain how you’re going to fit everything into both of your packed schedules.

Because life has no pause button, you don’t want to miss this one chance you have to take senior portraits. You don’t want to waste your money or time by choosing the wrong photographer that doesn’t know how to bring out your child’s unique personality. A photographer who doesn’t know how to make them feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera or doesn’t have the skill and expertise to make them look good and feel extraordinary may not be the right photographer for you. In this day and age, anyone with a camera can call themselves a photographer, but they may not understand the many components of great portrait photographs. You wouldn’t go to a hairstylist that bought a pair of scissors, but has no experience cutting hair. You wouldn’t let a surgeon who bought a knife, but never attended medical school, operate on you. That would be crazy.

Finding the right photographer can be one of the most important decisions you need to make.

There are not many photographers who are willing to guarantee results. We absolutely guarantee you will love your senior portraits or we will give your money back.

Imagine if you will, sitting on the couch facing your fireplace, it’s several years since your son or daughter has left home. As the flames crackle and the logs pop from below the mantle, you sink back into the couch, staring at the portrait that hangs above the fire. It’s a comfort to see your child’s face, after the sparse phone calls once or twice a week. A sigh comes from your lips as nostalgia begins to creep over you, memories flooding back. The edges of your lips curl up into a smile at the warm feeling that engulfs you. Looking at this portrait that has not just captured a likeness of your son or daughter, but rather the essence of who he or she is.

What our clients are saying…

Q: Tell me why you chose Ever After Portraits?

A: The most important factor for making my decision was when I went on your website and looked at your images, they were just far above everyone else’s. When I called we talked about not necessarily what you had in mind, but what I had in mind, what my vision was, what I was interested in doing, instead of you telling me this is what you do.

Q: What was important to you?

A: Everybody does senior pictures, but I wanted more than just pictures. It has been a long time since we had professional photographs taken and it was important to me to make sure we did it right. For everyone, no matter how much you have, money is still a consideration. The most important thing for me was to have work that says quality. You can’t really put a price on that. Photography is an art form and I didn’t want to have a generic studio do senior pictures and that be it. It is all about what you value; I value having nice portraits. They are something I will have forever.

Q: Now that you have the photographs, how do you feel?

A: I can’t tell you how pleased and happy I am. Every time I look at my book I see something different and when I look at the wall portraits I stand there in awe… Oh my gosh, every time I look at them they bring tears to my eyes because they are works of art…

It was a great experience all the way around and I couldn’t be more pleased with the finished pieces. ~ Cheryl Jackson

You might be wondering, “Why does it cost so much?”

Let me tell you a story about an artist we are all familiar with, Pablo Picasso. He was sitting in a sidewalk café in Paris sketching when a woman approached him and asked if he would please sketch her portrait. So Picasso agreed. After studying her for a moment, he made a few swift pen strokes, creating an original artwork. As he handed it back to her, she asked what she owed him. In response, he asked for the equivalent of $5,000 in today’s money. Aghast she replied, “But it only took you five minutes. How can you ask so much?” To which Picasso responded, “It took me my whole life.”

When Mindy & Joriana create a portrait they bring with them together over 35 years of mastering the fine art of photography. Their clients recognize how valuable their work is, and trust them to create a portrait unlike any other. Each family feels a deep emotional connection with their personalized piece of art. Some have even called the portraits their most valuable possession.

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “you get what you pay for.” That’s one reason we use the best professional labs in the country, labs that are not available to consumers. It’s important that the portraits, which come out of our studio, are worth far more than what you pay for them. All our photographs have a UV coating protecting your investment. The colors are true and have a full dynamic spectrum of shades leaving you with a portrait that looks impeccable. This portrait is not just for you, it’s for future generations, too.

Ask yourself, “What do I value?”

For the price of expensive shoes, purses, or clothing, you can have beautiful portraits of your child. These portraits, unlike shoes that might last only a season, will last a lifetime. People have a tendency to spend their money on what they truly value.

Ask yourself, “What do I value?”

You can’t turn back time, and you don’t want to regret not taking this opportunity to have professional portraits of your son or daughter. They’re only a senior once, and you won’t be able to rewind the clock and do it later.

Reserve your session now to ensure a guarantee of Mindy & Joriana’s time. Summer is the most ideal time to have senior portraits done; your son or daughter is out of school, you can do both indoor and outdoor portraits without dealing with cold temperatures and barren trees that look stark in the middle of winter. Once classes start up in the fall, your senior will be busy with school, extra-curricular activities, class trip, applying to colleges, not to mention the upcoming holiday season, and before you know it, graduation will be here.

Do you really want to take a chance on missing out?

During the summer you have about a 10-week window that you don’t want to miss for senior portraits. Our schedule allows 3 senior sessions each week. That means only 30 of our prime senior sessions are available. Anyone who puts this off, risks not getting an appointment for Mindy & Joriana to take their photograph.

Book your session early and we will reward you with an upgraded Art Elite package. You must call by July 15th to make your reservation.

Once your session is reserved, you’ll be invited to our studio for you and your senior’s own Portrait Design Session. Together we’ll sit down and plan something especially for you. We’ll find out what is unique about your son or daughter, what they love to do and what kind of personality they have. You can tell us what’s important to you, and what you and your son or daughter really want in their senior portraits. Part of what makes the finished portraits so special is listening to the ideas that you both share with us. Once we build upon those ideas and come up with a vision, we can plan the day of your portrait session. We will talk about all the important details like clothing, accessories, tans and whether you would like to request a hair and makeup artist. Our clients tell us that these are some of the things that set us apart.

“I had heard that Brad was a stickler for detail but during the session I was amazed at his attention to my daughter’s hair, clothing, and posture. He made sure that each little thing was perfect!”
~ DeniseEstep

When you and your senior arrive at our studio the day of their Art Elite session they’ll be ushered to their own dressing room where they can change in comfort. In the dressing room, there will be an array of refreshing beverages and snacks for you both to enjoy. An assistant will be available to iron and steam any last minute wrinkles. Your son or daughter can bring their favorite playlist so they can listen to the music they like. Once we’re on set, they will be our star and have our utmost attention. That is where the magic happens and Brad creates something spectacular for you.
