All things Parisian set the tone for Charles and Donna’s elegant wedding. From the hand-picked wines from France to the romantic sounds of Paris that floated through the air during the cocktail hour and reception, we loooooooved the theme of this wedding. Rosehill Manor in Leesburg, Virginia was the perfect venue — or at least in the mind of these two wedding photographers. For us, it was tres bien!

Well, we had the best time with the beautiful Katie and the Mr. GQ Rhys — the air was crisp, the leaves were falling like snowflakes, the geese were cooperating and the lake was lovely — which all made for a great walk in the woods with Katie and Rhys.
Meadowlark Gardens is just one of those places that is beautiful through all the seasons and this engagement session was no exception! What we love about Katie and Rhys is that they are so natural and at ease in front of the camera — we can’t wait to tell their wedding love story!

Even though there were periods that they had to be apart because of where they were stationed, you would never know it — they seem so close. They were easy to work with, too, because they let us be ‘us’ — we had some ideas we wanted to try with a new lighting set-up and they let us try some kewl new things. This couple wanted fun, sexy shots — well, gee, that was easy, because this is one fun, sexy couple!
