Jeff felt really fortunate to have such a good best friend. One that would find a place for him to stay. In a nice guest room in a close friend’s basement. As he settled in there, he noticed something else. Or rather, someone.
They watched movies together and played games. Acquaintance developed into friendship. Friendship develeoped into love.
Now that leads us to their engagement session! The two decided to build a gingerbread house and we think it looked absolutely delicious … take a look for yourself!

Will and Shannon knew from the second they met that there was a connection. The conversation just seemed to flow. They knew from that first date that this was different than the others. This was something worth pursuing. So pursue they did.
Shannon had made a comment in passing saying how she didn’t want to live with anyone until she was engaged to them. Will silently made notes. So when it was time to renew the lease Will drew up a special lease all of his own. This own proposed marriage. Can you guess what Shannon said!?!

As wedding photographers, you can usually always tell when a couple loves each other, and when a couple is “in love” with each other. Ryan and Jeannine are definitely in love.
It was a warm summer day when we photographed Ryan and Jeannine. You could tell by the way he looked at her. Like he saw the world in her eyes. For some couples, it’s so obvious how they feel about each other.
Jeannine looked radiant in the rouched orange dress Ryan bought for her. We’re women, so we, of course, noticed Jeannine’s shoes — sooo cute! Those were also picked out by Ryan. By now, most women would be asking if he had a brother, but I digress.
We can’t wait to see how amazing these two will look and even more — how their love will shine on their wedding day

Neither Jeremy or Keren were supposed to be at the gym one warm Saturday morning in August. However, a friend of Jeremy’s had convinced him to go in for a workout. Keren was out for a marathon training run with a friend and for some reason decided to go to the gym (not her usual gym, either!) for a workout, as well.
Keren spotted Jeremy from across the gym and thought he was so cute! Since she was acquainted with his workout partner, she was used going over and saying hi — this time as an excuse to get introduced to Jeremy!
Keren found out through chatting with Jeremy that he was a bodybuilder training for a competition, something she had a strong interest in pursuing. She asked if he would mind if she asked for some tips and maybe met up with him for a workout sometime, hoping he would ask for her number, but he never did (although Jeremy told her he’d have no problem if she joined him for a workout sometime).
Keren found out later that he completely forgot to ask her for her number! So instead Jeremy looked Keren up on Facebook later that day and sent her a message, to which she immediately replied and they started emailing back and forth for several days. Keren then met up with him for a morning workout a couple of days after they met and he took a spin class that she was instructing the following day. They went for walks together outside of the gym both nights – staying up until 1am both times! – and on the second night they shared their first kiss! They’ve been together ever since. 🙂

Tony and Jenn met in August 2009 at a client site in Herndon, VA. Tony had been a manager on the project for nearly 3 years when Jenn joined the team. Having offices only two doors down from one another, Tony would stop by often to chat with Jenn or tell one of his many stories.
They became work friends over the 6 month period their project assignments overlapped. When Tony left the project he was determined to continue seeing Jenn. He signed up to train for the same half marathon Jenn was running in the Spring and convinced her to join the project team’s softball team!.
They soon started dating and have been happy ever since 🙂
Their first date involved cupcakes … and cupcakes became a theme, not just the kind you eat but Cupcake wine as well. So it was only appropriate that the theme for Jenn and Tony’s engagement session be CUPCAKES!
We loved it! It was definitely one of the neatest engagement sessions we’ve done so far.
With such an amazing couple, we cannot WAIT to photograph their wedding!

They met under a full moon in DC! And got engaged in DC. So it was only appropriate that their engagement images be captured in DC!
